Calme, spacieux et ensoleillé, le gîte Madeloc est idéal pour les couples et les familles. Piscine chauffée, terrasse avec barbecue, vélos à disposition, aire de jeux,... agrémenteront votre séjour. "The accommodation was clean and comfortable without there being too much clutter. When looking for accommodation I had been concerned that my 18 month old son should be able to walk about the accommodation freely without fear that he would pull ornaments and cables and get things he should not. This accommodation enabled me to move ornaments to shelves well out of his reach, and cables to lights etc were tucked behind furniture so they did not attract his attention. It was also very reassuring that the swimming pool enclosure was secure, with a child-proof gate to access the pool. The pool was a comfortable temperature (even in November!) for my 18 month old. Another helpful point was the playpen within the pool enclosure, which enabled me to have a swim without worrying about what my little boy was getting up to. The owners were helpful and friendly. The loan of the highchair in particular was a god-send. The travel cot would have been helpful if my son was not such an escape artist! All the baby items lent were clean and I had no qualms about letting my son use them. It was a shame the weather was not particularly kind to us (it rained rather a lot) but the owners were very helpful in making suggestions of things we could do together with my little 18 month old son, and they offered to lend suitable dvds to entertain him. All in all they could not have been more helpful."

"Malgré une période hivernale, nous avons passé une semaine calme dans le calme. la maison est située près des accès aux village de Collioure, Cerbère, Argèles, ce permet de faire des sorties visites sur ces beaux villages bordant les cotes qui sont sauvages hors périodes estivales. nous avons eu ce que nous souhaitions. nous y retournerons avec nos enfants grandis, car l''espace du gite propose aussi une aire de jeux idéale pour des enfants voulant découvrir la nature. pour les "petits cowboy" pas de soucis leurs plaisirs seront garantis avec les chevaux à coté."

Wir, 4 Erwachsene und zwei Kinder, waren mit der Anlage sehr zufrieden. Die Sauberkeit, Ruhe und nette persönliche Betreuung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Kinder hatten viel Platz zum ungestörten spielen und der Pool war einfach herrlich. Auf der großen Terrasse genossen wir die Herbstsonne und die Aussicht auf das Meer. Wir kommen wieder !!

"Le Mas Lamon est un petit coin de paradis : Extrêmement calme Une situation extraordinaire en pleine nature dans les bois des hauteurs d''Argelès Beaucoup d''activités aussi bien à l''intérieur (chevaux, jeux pour enfants, piscine chauffée...) qu''à l''extérieur (à 10min de Collioure, la côte, les plages, l''Espagne...) Le gîte est très bien entretenu, propre, avec des équipements de qualité. Les propriétaires Louise et Franck sont très chaleureux et sympathiques, ils sauront vous faire apprécier la région. Sans aucun doute un gîte où nous reviendrons."

"Das Haus ist ein schönes Mehrfamilienhaus ausserhalb der ortes am Hang umgeben von Wald und einer Pferdekoppel; Sehr ruhig, wunderschön gelegen. Die Wohnungen sind schön renoviert und haben tolle terrassen, teilweise mit Blick aufs Meer. der Pool ist spitze, beheitzt! Ideal für ferien mit Kindern, wir haben dort wunderschöne 2 Wochen verbacht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit."

"Nous avons passé une semaine formidable chez Louise et Franck qui sont des propriétaires très accueillants et sympathiques. Le logement est tout neuf et très confortable. Les enfants ont bien profité de la piscine à la Toussaint. C'est une location bien située dans un endroit calme et entouré de verdure proche de nombreux sites grandioses en France comme en Espagne. Nous y retournerons prochainement avec nos trois enfants. La location est conforme à l'annonce."

Mas Lamon, Argeles Sur Mer - Wolfgang Cologne, Germany - Date of Stay: June 2011 - It was just wonderful! Lovely place, a lot to visit, heated pool, wonderful area. Louise and Frank are friendly and helpful all the time. Hint: check google-maps before arrival, makes it very easy to find to gite. Thank you for these great two weeks!

An excellent family holiday - The Kelly's England - Date of Stay: June 2011 - We have just returned from an excellent family holiday in the Canigou Gite. Frank and Louise were friendly and helpful, recommending the best beaches and places to eat. The children had an excellent time being able to roam safetly around the grounds of the property. The property was very clean and comfortable. The pool was clean, heated and safely fenced off. Would recommend to friends and family and we would like to return in the future.

a long and beautiful weekend! - massimo b. - Date of Stay: June 2011 - we stayed four days and received lot of attentions and kindness from the owners of the place, even though all apartments were occupied at the same time. the apartment we got was in good conditions, large, and every issue was taken care of or received acknowledge and an answer. the pool is heated and helped us enjoying a rainy weekend. place is quiet, the wood around is clean, there are farms and lot of activities around to visit and spend a gerat time with the kids or to discover the beauty of the area, if not enjoying the sea (we had some rain!)...

Louise and Franck have been great hosts and done a marvellous job with the apartments and the pool! Congratulations from Costanza, Massimo & Luca!

Lovely time in Mas Lamon - Frenchfamily Toulouse - Date of Stay: April 2011 - Beautiful big spotless flat suitable for our large family (3 children), matches perfectly the description given. Spectacular view of the Mediterranean from the terrace. Lovely warm pool enjoyed for endless hours everyday (end April) and lots of outdoor games (swing, table tennis...). Many areas to visit like Collioure or Port Vendres nearby or Spanish towns slightly further. The kindness and hospitality of the owners add to the natural charm of the place. We look forward to coming back soon.

Mas Lamon, Argeles Sur Mer - Emma Lewes, United Kingdom - Date of Stay: April 2011 - We had a lovely relaxing week. It was our first time away with our one year old and the gite was perfect. A lovely warm swimming pool with a safety gate, lots of land for little people to run around in and our gite was all on one level which was fantastic. The drive (or cycle) to Argeles Sur Mer is not far away and a great town to get everything you need. We would head there first thing in the morning to get our fresh croissants and cheese for the day! The owners were very helpful and welcoming and on hand readily to answer any queries. One piece of advice, make sure you are clear on directions to get to the gite, it is just outside the town and we struggled to find it and our French not being up to much, took some time to locate the property! But once there it was worth the wait. Also if you like wine, make sure you visit the local Caves, you can get some good and very reasonable wine.
